10 QUESTIONS ABOUT VIBRO-LIPOSCULPTURE

(Liposuction by vibration, one of the Centre’s main areas of expertise)

1. Does it require hospitalization?

No, the procedure involves arriving in the morning at the clinic, on an empty stomach (no eating or drinking since the night before), and leaving the same day after a few hours rest.

2. Does it hurt?

No, plan about 48 hours of being quite uncomfortable due to the immediate after-effects of surgery.

3. Will I need a general anaesthetic?

No, a local anaesthetic is enough with light sedation.

4. What are the operation’s after-effects?

We recommend wearing lipo-panties for 3 weeks and a return to any sports activities is allowed after three weeks.

5. Does the fat recur?

No, because fat cells do not regenerate after liposuction.

6. What are the risks?

Minimal as regards the operation, because the anaesthetic is local and only surface tissue is involved.

7. How long does it take to see the results?

You’ll see a noticeable difference as of the first month, but the final results only appear after 3 months.

8. How do you extract the fat?

After making a few fine incisions in the skin, we dilute the fat with an anaesthetizing saline solution. Then we perform the liposuction using vibrating micro-cannulas that destroy the fat while suctioning. This is vibro-liposculpture.

9. How long does the procedure last?

On average 1 hour for 2 body areas, and up to 3 hours for a full body contouring.

10. How much does it cost?

It depends on the number and volume of areas treated.

11. How can you be sure that the surgeon really has this type of equipment?

VIBRO-LIPOSCULPTURE has several names in the cosmetic surgery market. The most well known VLS system is LIPOMATIC produced by the company EUROMI. This is the brand we see most often on the web.

Simply ask your surgeon or clinic. EUROMI can also inform you of their clients.
